Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage Fulfillment Projects to Include:  WMS, New Client Onboarding, Consolidating Operations of Acquisitions, and Managing 3PL relationships, International and Domestic
  • Entrepreneurial drive to improve service and grow throughput of operations
  • Continuous improvement
  • Communicate with and educate internal customers on capabilities.
  • Lead successful projects execution to maximize efficient flow of materials and minimize waste.
  • Give clear direction to staff for understanding of project detail and timeline to complete.
  • Monitor projects to meet Quality Assurance and completion deadlines.
  • Keep and maintain project documentation and records.
  • Follow policy and procedures to ensure 99.9% accuracy.
  • Improve area layout and needs as required (equipment/processes)
  • Responsible for developing and adhering to all budgets to run the Materials Organization, such as staffing, temp help, supplies, and Capital Expense.
  • Maintain high expectations of performance for all Materials Operations personnel, while motivating them to high levels of productivity.
  • Interact with BD&A leadership giving input to teams as needed

Experience Requirements

  • Warehousing, Fulfillment & Distribution Experience
  • Education – 4 Year College Degree preferred
  • Experience in WMS Environment – Oracle preferred
  • PMP or Project Management training preferred
  • Materials Organization Management
  • Staff Leadership and Management
  • P&L, budgeting, and benchmark experience

Job Skills and Traits

  • Excellent Inventory Management Skills in high quantity SKU environment
  • Ability to Manage Fulfillment and Value-Added Processes
  • Understanding of Lean Concepts and Demonstrated use
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills required (ability to find ways to meet cost and timeline targets while balancing priorities)
  • Self- starter, high energy, hardworking, driven to exceed goals
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with cross functional leaders in purchasing, merchandising, and Web development.
  • Skilled in leadership, communication, delegation, and motivation of staff
  • Detail oriented – Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities and critical deadlines
  • Ability to flourish in a high stress environment
  • Works well with deadlines and understanding of hourly measurement of productivity to meet deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records keeping system
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP with WMS
