Receiving Team Lead

Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain control of overall Receiving Services Shipping and Packing operations as directed by the Industrial Engineer Manager.
Support Industrial Engineer Manager assisting with trouble shooting, emergencies, shipping issue resolution, carrier management and full coverage during absences and vacations including e-mail.
Train and demonstrate Company and Department Goal and Initiative alignment.
Train, hands on, according to training schedule, all Team members to ensure procedures are understood and followed to meet or exceed all BDA quality standards.  This includes initial training of new hires, as well as continued training to all.
Monitor all phases of Shipping, to capture and correct procedure creep.  Every process should be consistent and results identical from each Team member.
Effectively and consistently communicate a high level of standards and expectations to staff.
Maintain continuous improvement within the department in quality, productivity, and service level agreements to clients.
Develop flexible work team to support changes in priorities directed either by Management.
Be a positive role model for quality and quantity of work to be done.
Motivate others to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy.
Communicate high levels of expectations to staff requiring them to produce the best quality service for BDA.
Promote positive image internally and externally.
Prioritize work appropriately to ensure critical issues dealing with Catalog Fulfillment Shipping and Packing operations are addressed appropriately.
Maintain organized desk area, and personal schedule.
Provide superior quality assurance in all aspects of Fulfillment Shipping operations.
Assist Management to provide a safe work environment for all BDA associates.


Experience Requirements

2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Specific experience should include ERP with WMS (Oracle preferred), Shipping Software, Domestic, International, Parcel, LTL, Truckload Shipping, and Customer Service.

Delivery of outstanding customer service to internal / external customers and to vendors with Tigger Attitude.
