Responsibilities

  • Own order process from beginning to when order is passed to Post Production.
    • Direct day to day order processes, including timelines, quality, proof approvals, shipping and tracking, including contacting Clients for approvals and additional order instructions
    • Coordinate quote and  order activities with Clients as requested by the Account Manager
    • Identify and act on selling added value services (e.g., creative, fulfillment, printing)
    • Manage order scope changes including updating PO’s, sending revised artwork and gaining client approval on changes
    • Ensure orders are turned over to Post Production Associates within 1 business day of order going into production
    • Communicate timely order status to the Account Manager and/or client
    • Proactively manage order milestones and provide solutions to issues
    • Inform Supervisor of any potential issues with orders and workload
  • Engage in ideation, sourcing, negotiation and project coordination for samples and orders.
    • Multiple proficiencies to include order and vendor management.  This includes price negotiation and timeline management.
    • Deliver absolute best cost, safe product with high quality and fast delivery.
    • Continually suggest and implement ways to lower all costs.
    • Maintain relationships, troubleshoot and resolve issues and conduct final negotiations with significant suppliers and agents as necessary
    • Identify and research vendors; create and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, timing and exclusivity
  • Complete CRM contacts, quotes and order forms for the Account Manager as requested
  • Complete Art Tickets, value-added services and other internal documents as requested by the Account Manager
  • Engage in client research to achieve account and brand expertise; maintain client profiles and requirements
  • Partner with various departments within BDA to increase gross profit revenue, minimize cost of goods sold and ensure customer satisfaction while leveraging overall BDA spend.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in handling issue resolution and customer escalations.
  • Achieve individual performance metrics and measurements
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with BDA employees and clients
  • Complete other job duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

  • 1+ years in sales or supporting salespeople
  • 1+ years customer service management
  • 1+ years in merchandise industry
  • 1+ years in project management preferred but not required
  • Oracle CRM On Demand experience preferred, but not required
  • Oracle EBS Order Management and Procurement experience preferred, but not required
