  • Overview

    BDA is looking for an energetic IT Manager who is a demonstrated though leader and can lead its IT Infrastructure team.


    • Responsible for building, maintaining and supporting the technology needs of BDA offices in the US, China and EU.
    • Design and implement policies and procedures
    • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions.
    • Manage timelines and priorities of ongoing projects
    • Develops tools to support on-going network operations. 
    • Analyzes utilization information and leads network capacity planning.
    • Participates in documenting production infrastructure drawings.
    • Use automated monitoring and logging tools to isolate and correct system errors ensuring maximum availability and reliability of critical network systems.
    • Maintain network documentation records, such as network design diagrams, contact information, warranty information and other data relevant to disaster prevention and business resumption.
    • Recommends fiscally responsible approaches for system-related investments.
    • Assesses and remediates operational risk in the infrastructure IT environments
    • Oversee Systems Administrators and Helpdesk.
    • Leads, directs and mentors IT staff
    • Partners with all BD&A departments to ensure goal alignment and ease of process.


    Experience Requirements

    • At least 5 years in an IT Manager or Lead position
    • Background in Systems Administration or Engineering
    • Previous Management or team-lead experience.

    Job Skills & Traits

    • Familiarity with PCI compliance.
    • Solid knowledge of MS Windows Enterprise Systems.
    • Project Management experience.
    • Good understanding of software licensing and management a plus.
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects in parallel.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Direct experience with storage and virtualization a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of common Technology principles (high-availability, fault tolerance, load balancing, clustering, etc).
    • Experience with Office 365, AWS and other cloud providers a strong plus.
