    This is a new position that will continue to drive process improvements in reporting, supply chain theory (EOQ, forecast variance, ABC classification) and represent the Supply Chain organization with internal and external business partners.


    • Manage CPD inventory per set targets including examples of In stock %, ABC analysis, Inventory Turn Targets, WOS, and dark down recommendations.
    • Develop and analyze key operational and financial performance metrics.
    • Assist in new product launch status, finished good inventory strategy and tracking to ensure optimal financial performance within the CPD vertical channel.
    • Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately and according to contracts.
    • Attend strategic sales and planning meetings with sales leadership and Account Managers as needed.
    • Create ease of process through constant evaluation of processes and suggest areas for improvement to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
    • Work closely with inventory analyst, salespeople, coordinators, sourcing and warehouse to anticipate customer’s needs.
    • Negotiate with outside vendors, as necessary, to insure best rates and services as possible.
    • Communicate overall delivery compliance.
    • Update Director and salespeople on a continuous basis on Supply Chain health and immediately alert team of discrepancies.
    • Knowledge of retailer schedules, shipping requirements, compliance regulations, goals, deadlines, etc.
    • Ensure that all retailer requirements are met including correct carton markings and carriers.
    • File and track claims as necessary with carriers if shortages or damages occur.
    • Work with coordinators and retailers to process, track and reconcile credit memos including disputed amounts.
    • Assist with producing, maintaining and tracking all orders from start to finish to the satisfaction of the client.
    • Understand product lead times, order/shipping deadlines, product / carton dimensions, weights. Ensure complete and correct PO’s are generated.
    • Work as a team with appropriate BDA departments to ensure customer satisfaction and BDA Goal Alignment.
    • Set up & maintain schedule, timeline and calendar of events for proposed products and / or programs relative to product or program launch dates.

    • College degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, and/or equivalent experience in the retail and ecommerce industry.
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel).
    • Strong analytic, strategic and tactical skillset.
    • Knowledge of Purchasing fundamentals, Finished Good / Component Inventory Strategies, Factory constraints / throughput and EOQ.
    • Proven mastery of inventory management principals and theories of demand forecasting and Supply / Component Planning.
    • Strong Problem Solving, Project Management and Process Improvement experience.
    • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle a Plus).
    • Highly organized with proven time management.
    • Creative problem-solving skills.
    • A sound understanding in developing exit strategies for slow moving items and liquidation methodologies for obsolete inventories.

    Preferred Job Skills

    • Managed multiple consumer product categories with an understanding of the nuances how products are made and decorated.
    • 5+ year’s relevant professional experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and/or Retail Operations.
    • Demonstrated success in a multi-tasking and matrixed organization working closely with cross-functional teams on maintaining the plan of record and communicating changing priorities.
    • Experience managing a diverse supply base involving multiple factories and a diverse portfolio.
    • Experience bridging gaps between Supply Chain and Sales to ensure there is alignment on supply plans – including excess and constraints.
    • Very strong oral and written communication skills. Confident in presentation skills.
    • Ability to make recommendations for improvements, and where adopted assist in mapping and implementation.
    • Streamlined a supply chain by continuously assessing and improving inventory management, procurement processes and procedures, and compressing lead-times.
    • Experience in resolving product quality problems.
