  • Overview

    The Digital Marketing Specialist will drive client email marketing programs to new levels. They will be responsible for owning several client email marketing programs with a focus on quality and results. The ideal candidate will have a successful history of email marketing with a strong foundation in web analytics. The candidate should be a digital native that understands best practices for email marketing, can articulate results, and develop plans to make improvements. Experience with social media marketing and online advertising is a plus. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced business environment.


    • Develop strategies, manage and execute all requests for client email marketing
    • Track and monitor performance for all email marketing activities with a focus on improving KPIs.  Provide direct feedback/analytics on specific email campaigns with the goal to improve response/revenue
    • Work with internal creative and program teams to design, develop, and execute campaigns
    • Foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction
    • Develop and execute SEO and SEM strategies by store where appropriate


    Experience Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience in email marketing preferably for eCommerce stores
    • Experience using and reporting web analytics for websites and email marketing programs
    • Technical hands-on experience using standard Web Technology (HTML, CSS,)
    • Experience with PPC, SEO and SEM testing and execution, and social media highly desirable


    Job Skills & Traits

    • Strong understanding of website technology, email marketing, Pay Per Click, SEO, SEM, Social Media platforms
    • Advanced knowledge of email marketing automation, campaign management & best practices. Mailchimp experience a plus.
    • Strong technical understanding of web analytics and the ability to pick up new monitoring and reporting tools quickly. Google Analytics experience a plus.
    • Demonstrated team-player with a participative, collaborative and open work style.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
    • History of working closely with multiple internal teams on complex projects.
    • Able to multi-task multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
    • Maintain a sense of urgency and ownership for timely delivery of all project elements.
    • Handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize workload effectively with little supervision.
