    Our talented Program Merchandising Group within BDA— develops, designs, and sources for 25+ Fortune 500 clients. From classic to stylish, this team is shaping the styles and looks our clients love for their brand.  An effective Merchandiser is experienced, results-oriented and views the business through the lens of the client.


    • Recognize Brand Awareness and how to interpret this to product/merchandise for client(s)
    • Implement merchandising plans to achieve performance goals for a specific merchandise category/Client Refresh
    • Define seasonal, annual and multi-year strategies that identify future opportunities and trends
    • Support merchandising strategy for the company, including alignment of clients/brands and product
    • Participate in life cycle management (initiate, grow and retire) for multiple categories and/or brands
    • Ensure successful product line presentations to clients
    • Oversee day-to-day activities for product launches/refreshes
    • Take current trends and translate into creative marketing product
    • Deliver product performance results based on strategic goals and budget expectations
    • Product Assortment Planning for all eCommerce and Catalog Product Lines while partnering with internal program teams
    • Merchandiser is responsible for all SKU creation and maintenance
    • Any additional tasks or projects as assigned from manager

    Experience Requirements

    • 1-3 years eCommerce Merchandising/Product Development experience
    • Minimum 5 years of retail buying, merchandising and/or planning experience
    • Minimum 1-2 years management experience

    Job Skills and Traits:

    • Must demonstrate working knowledge of gross margin and assortment planning
    • Confidence and Ability to articulate and sell a concept to a business team
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Ability to build strong vendor partnerships.
    • Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and team building skills
    • Ability to multi task in high pressure, fast moving environment
    • Experience initiating, recommending and implementing merchandise strategies
    • Strong organization skills and ability to maintain database
    • Strong understanding of and ability to apply market intelligence
    • Understanding of retail and the service environment
    • Fluency in MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Oracle Experience a plus
    • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
